St. Mary graduates featured on WAFB

Two St. Mary parish graduates were honored and are now among the “stars” of the popular Best of the Class video taken by WAFB television in Baton Rouge and broadcast each graduation season.

Jacob Adams of Hanson Memorial High School and Gavin Sanders of Centerville High School were honored at a reception held Saturday May 12th at the Lod Cook Alumni Center along with 90 of the highest academic achievers from the public and private high schools in the WAFB viewing area. Students got the chance to meet the physicians of the Baton Rouge Clinic and WAFB executives and news anchors

The Best of the Class commercials have began airing on WAFB Channel 9 since last week. The promo includes students from 11 parishes and 2 Mississippi counties. The 29th Annual Best of the class project will be broadcast through June on WAFB
