A brief power outage along Admiral Doyle Drive and Lewis Street affected hundreds in New Iberia Wednesday, but lasted less than an hour. 

A Cleco Corp. spokesperson said Wednesday the outage affected a total of 608 customers. It lasted from 2:08 p.m. to 2:47 p.m. The reason for the outage was unknown at this time. 

Customers affected by the outage ranged from Admiral Doyle Drive, including Catholic High School, and down through Lewis Street.
