Game times set for next round of playoffs

Game times have been set for the weekend in the LHSAA playoffs as Catholic High, Loreauville and Erath will play host to best-of-3 series while Delcambre will be on the road in its best-of-3 series.

At Catholic High, the eighth-seed Panthers will play host to ninth-seeded Northlake Christian in a first-round series.

Game 1 is set for Friday night at 6 p.m. at Emmit Froisy Field and CHS will be the home team.

Game 2 is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Northlake Christian will be the home team.

The if necessary Game 3 will be play at 4 p.m. Saturday and Catholic High will be the home team.

In Loreauville, the eight-seeded Tigers will play host to ninth-seeded Mangham.

The first game is set for Friday at 5 p.m. and LHS will be the home team.

The second game is set for Saturday at Noon and Mangham will be the home team.

The if necessary Game 3 will be play at 3 p.m. Saturday and Loreauville will be the home team.

At Erath, the No. 2 seed Bobcats will play host to 15th-seeded  Brusly in the second round.

Game 1 is set for Friday at 6 p.m. with Erath as the home team. Game 2 is set for Saturday at 11 a.m. with Brusly as the home team and the if necessary Game 3 will be played a 1:30 p.m. with Erath as the home team.

No. 17 seed Delcambre, which went on the road and beat No. 16 seed Fisher 5-2 Tuesday, will travel to top-seeded Winnfield, which beat No. 32 seed Franklin 16-0 in the first round.

Game 1 is set for Friday at 6 p.m. with Winnfield as the home team.

Game 2 is set for Saturday at 11 a.m. with Delcambre as the home team and the if necessary Game 3 is set for 1 p.m. and Winnfield will be the home team.

No game time or date has been set for Centerville’s second round game on the road at Oak Grove.

In the Association of Christian Educators of Louisiana Softball Playoffs, No. 2 seed Assembly Christian will play No. 3 seed Harvest Time Christian in the semifinal set for 1 p.m. Friday at A.A. Comeaux Park in Abbeville.

The consolation and championship games have been set for Saturday at AA Comeaux Park as well.
