Cleco awards incentives for 3 port businesses

Cleco presented a check for $113,000 in incentives for three port businesses at the Port of Iberia’s board meeting Tuesday. From left are Port of Iberia Director Craig Romero, board President Smitty Smith, Port board Vice President Mark Dore, Cleco Power Wise consultant Gary Guidroz, Cleco Power’s Jude Hebert, Greg Domingue of Crosby Construction Services Inc., Acadiana Lighting Sales Manager Drew Trett and Joey Balfour of Custom Compression Systems.

Cleco awarded the Port of Iberia a total of $113,686 in incentives for three port businesses at their regular meeting Tuesday.

Chart Industries, Crosby Energy Services and Custom Compression Systems, participated in the Cleco large commercial Power Wise program.

Cleco’s Power Wise Program is designed to help customers save money by lowering their electric bills. Large or small, customers may be able to receive incentives to improve efficiency through a variety of measures.

Businesses as well as large facilities can receive financial incentives for installation of energy efficient measures.

Representatives from the Power Wise program and respective port companies were present to receive the check, as was Port of Iberia Craig Romero.
