I think, now that I’ve been exposed to little BUZZ for some time now, I can safely say “I think that I really know you BUZZ”, but she can absolutely Astonish, Amaze and Amuse me at times. In fact, the Rogers and Hart song from Pal Joey, BEWITCHED, BOTHERED AND BEWILDERED perhaps describes my feelings more appropriately?

One case in point, or better One of the many cases in point, was the time BUZZ wanted to dance with ME to a catchy little tune that is part of the evening’s offering (only offered once per evening). Well, I had already asked someone else for the next dance and guess which song came up? You guessed it(!) and need I tell you how that night turned out? Sometimes you ‘cannot win for losing’, but you get to know where your boundaries are at least.

You see, there are over a zillion things folks really don’t know about each other or even have a clue about either and that’s what’s so much fun about hanging out with the gang, with BUZZ, Jeannie, Missy and those other New Iberians…

In order to get a better grip on life, I would love to find Lucy’s (Peanuts) 5 cents Psychiatry Stand and get some advice for my mental issues. Perhaps I would even meet Charley Brown’s little Red Haired girl there, she has always been on my top 10 list.

Moving past my mental health issues, I have found relief for a physical problem caused by my pal Missy on Jefferson Terrace Avenue…the long 4 lane corridor that has really nice places to ‘visit’.

BUZZ and MISSY go to the Vet there, I go to ‘Bone Doctors’, a plumbing supply store, Meat Market, Taco Eatery, Bank, a furniture store and even more retail establishments…We enjoy the convenience of the street.

BUZZ always tags along for the ride hoping to ‘grab a bite or two’ if she gets the urge.

Convenience has always been my ‘motto’ and ‘The Terrace’ offers just that for inner city dwellers like us.

That said, I could just as well NOT have had to visit for medical issues, but BUZZ saw it as just another adventure in New Iberia so I guess “It’s ALL good” after all?
