BAYOU SIDE RUN

When: Saturday, May 3, 2025, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Where: Bouligny Plaza, 128 W. Main St.

What: An unforgettable day of fun and fitness. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 1-mile fun run/walk, making it a fantastic opportunity for everyone, regardless of their fitness level. This annual event, organized by Heart for Iberia and the Iberia Mental Health Initiative, aims to raise funds for mental health initiatives in the community. You can participate individually or as a team.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE

When: Friday, May 2, 2025 and Saturday, May 3, 2025, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Main Library, 445 E. Main St.

What: Support Friends of the Library and stock up on all kinds of books. The book sale will include hardbacks, paperbacks, children’s books, teen books, and DVDs. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library.

KIWANIS TRIVIA NIGHT

When: Friday, May 2, 2025, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Cyr Gates Community Center, 300 Parkview Drive

What: Grab a few friends and get your team together for a fun evening of trivia. There will be 10 categories with 10 questions per category. The Berry Queens will be in attendance again this year assisting the New Iberia Kiwanis with this “fun-raiser”. The New Iberia Kiwanis Club is dedicated to improving the world one child and community at a time.
