New Iberia Senior High School’s graduating seniors received their diplomas in the boy’s gymnasium Thursday night. The NISH Class of 2018 had 391 graduating seniors and five co-valedictorians, who all addressed their fellow classmates with this year’s commencement speech. The valedictorians were Peyton Bailey, Andrew Curet, Layla Elkhan, Emily Neuville and Kaitlyn Viator. NISH’s Class Color was black and gold, the School Song was Drake’s “God’s Plan” and School Motto was “We may not have it all together but together we have it all.”
