1. It’s a Wonderful Night on Main Street

An event Saturday will take you back to the days when families had house parties and celebrated the joy and wonder of the Christmas season. It was a time when dance parties were special and guests dressed to the nines. 

Enjoy the big band sound of The Skyliners, slow dance with that special someone and hobnob with friends and family. Tickets are $35. Doors open at 7 p.m. at the Sliman Theater.

2. Christmas in the Village in Loreauville

Loreauville’s inaugural Christmas in the Village is scheduled Saturday at Loreauville Town Hall. 

The event starts at 6 p.m. with hanging ornaments on the Christmas tree, followed by Santa’s arrival at 6:30 p.m. and the lighting of the tree at 7 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be available by Stacey Hebert Photography for $20.

3. Hays Town holiday tour on tap

Celebrate the holidays with A. Hays Town! Explore and enjoy a tour of buildings in New Iberia built by Louisiana’s Architect — A. Hays Town. 

The Sunday event is presented with Iberia Cultural Resource Association and Louisiana Architecture Foundation. Home Tours are noon-5 p.m. and a VIP reception is 5:30-7 p.m. For information, go to the Hays Town Holiday Home Tour in New Iberia event page on Facebook.
