LPB’S LOUISIANA PUBLIC SQUARE WILL AIR TONIGHT AT 7PM

Due to technical difficulties, Louisiana Public Broadcasting’s Wednesday night lineup did not air. These programs have been rescheduled.

Louisiana Public Square will air tonight at 7PM. with an encore showing on Sunday, January 27 at 11AM. The topic of this month’s discussion is Newtown: A Louisiana Perspective, which looks at how the national discussion about gun control, school safety and the treatment of the mentally ill could affect Louisiana.

Panelists included Louisiana State Police Superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson; attorney Lewis Unglesby; Child Psychiatrist, Lafourche Parish School System consultant and faculty member at the Tulane School of Medicine Betty Muller, MD; and State Sen. Neil Riser of Columbia who sponsored the Louisiana gun rights constitutional amendment.

NOVA Rise of the Drones will air Sunday, January 28 at 3PM and Life on Fire will air at 4PM. Nature Attenborough’s Life Stories will air at 10PM on Monday, January 28 at 10PM.
