Iberia Parish Fire District No. 1 and B.O.M. Volunteer Fire Department responded to a trailer fire in Iberia Parish Thursday morning. 

The call for the fire was received at 8:22 a.m. and took place in the 4900 block of Rutten Rill Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a mobile home with fire showing outside of a bedroom window. The fire was under control in 15 minutes, according to the department. 

There have been a total of 13 structure fires in 2020, according to the department.
