Boil advisory issued for Iberia Parish Coteau water system

A boil water notice is issued for Waterworks District #3 in Iberia Parish until further notice is given.

Officials ask that customers please inspect their property for leaks and conserve water in order for the system to remain in operation without further service disruption.

The waterworks shut down service overnight to build up supply due to pressure loss in the system, likely from frozen and burst pipes.
