The village of Loreauville celebrated the beginning of the Christmas season on Main Street Saturday with the Loreauville Community Project’s annual Christmas in the Village.

Downtown Loreauville was closed off for the evening as vendors, games and other Christmas-related activities for the whole family were placed on Main Street in celebration of the holiday season.

Live music and pictures with Santa were part of the event, as well as the lighting of Loreauville’s Christmas tree which is located next to Loreauville Town Hall.

The event is put on annually by the Loreauville Community Project, which hosts many activities throughout the year in the village related to community improvement and holiday celebrations. The organization also annually hosts a pumpkin patch at Loreauville Town Hall for the fall season as well.
