A festive Royalty Reception honoring the King and Queen of the “Blue Magic on Main Christmas Parade” was held downtown at Clementine Fine Dining and Spirits in New Iberia. Victor and Catherine Huckaby were crowned and featured at the annual Downtown Business Association’s Main Street parade on Dec. 13.  The parade had a blue theme, including the Christmas lights lining the street.  Shop windows were decorated in blue 1930s art-deco style for “Window Wonderland.” This year’s theme honored the work of the world-famous artist and New Iberia native George Rodrigue, who passed away on Dec. 14, 2013. Rodrigue’s son Jacques Rodrigue served as Grand Marshal of the parade.
